This is disclaimer is for the Acupressure course found here

Educational Purpose Only. The information, techniques, video content, and written materials provided in this course are offered for educational and informational purposes only. They are not intended as, and should not be construed as, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. No clinician–patient relationship is established between you and the course author, instructors, or contributors by your enrollment in or use of this course.

Not a Substitute for Medical Care. Acupressure as taught here is designed to complement — never replace — the prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care provided by your obstetrician, midwife, family physician, or other licensed healthcare provider. Please continue all regularly scheduled prenatal appointments, follow your provider's guidance, and never delay, alter, or forgo medical care because of information learned in this course.

Consult Your Healthcare Provider Before Beginning. We strongly encourage you to discuss the practices in this course with your healthcare provider before starting, particularly if you have a high-risk pregnancy, a history of pregnancy complications, preterm labor, placenta previa, a chronic medical condition, or are under specialist care. Certain acupressure points are intentionally avoided at specific stages of pregnancy; your provider can help you determine whether additional precautions apply to your situation.

When to Seek Immediate Medical Care. This course is not designed to evaluate or manage medical emergencies. During pregnancy, contact your provider or seek emergency care promptly for any of the following: vaginal bleeding, decreased fetal movement, severe or persistent abdominal pain, severe headache or vision changes, fluid leakage before 37 weeks, signs of preterm labor, fever, or any symptom that worries you. After delivery, seek immediate care for heavy bleeding, severe pain, fever, signs of infection, or mood symptoms that feel unmanageable. Acupressure is never an appropriate substitute for emergency medical evaluation.

Adjunctive Use Only for Specific Topics. Several topics covered in this course — including support for medical induction, premature rupture of membranes, retained placenta, and breastfeeding initiation — describe acupressure techniques used solely as adjunctive support alongside medical care. A retained placenta, in particular, is a clinical condition that must be managed by your delivery team. The techniques in this course are not intended to be used in place of medical management.

Individual Results. Acupressure works in cooperation with the body's own processes. Effects vary among individuals, and no specific outcome is guaranteed. Acupressure cannot induce labor in a body that is not ready, override medical complications, or replace clinically indicated interventions.

Assumption of Responsibility. By enrolling in and using this course, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer, and you assume all responsibility for your use of the information and techniques presented. Rosefinch Academy, its instructors, and contributors are not liable for any harm, injury, or adverse outcome arising from the use or misuse of the information provided.
