Course description

Conception requires the union of sperm and egg forming a viable embryo that may implant into a receptive womb that will nourish and gestate in pregnancy until delivery. To be a fertility acupuncture specialist, understanding the physiology and making an accurate diagnosis is vital to success. In this course, build upon the foundation you learned in your master’s program. Learn how to assess fertility in people with ovaries and/or uterus using East Asian Medicine (EAM). Learn how to interview people who menstruate and are trying to conceive, review biomedical test results, and accurately diagnose the EAM pattern(s) contributing to the inability to conceive. Identify key signs/symptoms for diagnosis and EAM pathologies contributing to or causing infertility. At the end of this course, you will be able to implement a comprehensive fertility assessment interview and make an accurate diagnosis.
